hi all,

I removed the instrument panel to do the fuel filter on my bike and upon reconnecting have the VINERR message on the speedo display
The analog speedo & tach work however the odometer does not display, just has VINERR showing
I have the speedo/tach combo and buggered if I can fined the transfer cable that it came with when I bought it !
Does anyone know if this is the only way to recalibrate it or I have heard that after riding for 50km it will permanently marry to the bike and start working again which is fine but Melbournes weather !
OR does anyone have one of these cables to sell or lend in the Melbourne area?
