Just wondering what happens if you sell a bike to someone from interstate and they give you the wrong address. For instance...In NSW and sell to someone from Vic but they have given you the wrong address and no Lic No...You still put in the Notice of disposal and is that it,the buck is passed to the RTA to sort it out?? If the rego is not transfered by the new owner is the rego cancelled after 14 days?

if you have the money and have put in the form to the RTA, I would wash my hands and move on.

No mate...didn't even give it a thought...I will drop the notice of disposal into the RTA first thing Monday and go from there...This is the first time I have sold something interstate..
