Hi everyone.   I'm sorry to go over this subject again.   I know there is other posts on the forum about this but I'm so confused and need some advise and clarification please.
So my plan is to fit V&H 3" twin slash slip ons (with the competition baffles).   The Screamin Eagle mufflers on the bike are just not loud enough.   I am quite happy to fit the mufflers myself but the first issue is,   I've heard so many stories on needing a tuner.  Yes you do,  no you don't.   I understand the engine could run leaner and hotter so perhaps thats my answer there.   So if I have to,   is a FP3 enough?

The other is,   Warranty.   Am I going to cause issues,   should I talk to the dealer first before I change anything.   (I've got 1100 kays on the clock so the first service is not too far away.   I actually wanted to change exhaust after the first service was done.

Any info or advise you can give would be great.    Thanks  Stew.

Also, as mentioned in a similar post last year, pipes are quieter on the m8 engines. Spoke to a couple of guys the other day. One had a 2018 114 Fatboy and the other had a Breakout. Both had the same V&H pipes and when they started and rode off, the Fatboy was noticeably quieter.

Maybe go have a coffee (or stronger) and sit down at a location where bikes ride through. This is how I came across these 2 guys. Area I ride is full on with bikes passing through, stopping for lunch etc. You'll soon see/hear what your after.
