2008 street bob  on 78000kms.  Clutch feels  pretty ropey and  can hear a clunk now and then when I  change gear and release the clutch lever.  As its the original clutch im guessing  plates are just worn so will  fit a new clutch pack at the weekend ( im curious is 78000km about right  for clutch  plate life?)

Whats the advice re the bearing ( replace that as well whilst Im in there?)
I have the workshop manual so  not expecting any issues , but does anyone have any "gotchas" that I need to be aware of from their own experiences

It depends on how hard its been flogged. My 2012 Street Glide has done 65k on original clutch but updated spring as it was starting to slip. Plenty of my klm were two up fully loaded and i think there is plenty left in the original. When you drop the primary oil you can smell the abuse those clutches get
