finally finished putting the bike together, and moment comes around to fire it up.
hit the starter, fires up within 4 sec's.
because i was standing on the right hand side of the bike, i didn't notice fuel pissin' out from the check valve / fuel line.
quickly shut down the engine, WTF.
when i switch the ignition on fuel still pissin' out the connection.
    thoughts boys ????????

There is an 'O' ring in the connection which gets damaged/ lost Ralph, Disconnect it and make sure the o ring is still in there and undamaged.

Had the same problem with my bike when I had the tank off, i actually put some rubber seal on the o ring that I use for the orings on my pool pipe connections and fixed it straight away.  You can buy it from Clarke Rubber, not sure if its the right thing to do but it hasn't leaked since.  Changing the o ring is a bitch, very fiddly.

Ralphski, are you sure the outer collar is all the way down over the hose fitting? Bit hard to tell from the photo mate, but possibly the hose isn't inserted fully into the quick connect. Worth checking your O ring anyway while apart again.

Small O_Ring inside the female sie of the connector body  14/10/2mm. Available at any engineering supply shop. Tricky to change. Use a seal pick to remove an a small 1/4" drive socket that just fits in the bore to push the new one squarely into place...lube it well with red rubber grease or similar
