Thanks for the reply ... have people got any recomendations for interesting Bike exhibits on our trip .
Going from Brisbane , New England Hwy , over to Dubbo , down through Albury Wodonga { check out Phil`s } , down to Geelong { stop in at Big Dealer ship there } , over to Tassie { Both Richardson`s shops } will be on island for 15 days , back to mainland up through Bainsdale and up to Bright , check out the high country , up to Canberra to pay respect to the Diggers , think there is a dealership there as well , then back up home .
So if there were any recommendations that didn`t take us to far off our route we might be able to go and have a sticky beek ... will be doing all the normal tourist stuff on the way as well like The Dish at Parkes on way down and heaps in Tassie plus a lot of the High Country as mentioned ... i know there are hundreds of places to see of interest but just thought there might be some unique places that we wouldn`t normally think of that the good people of this site might have some insite to .
Cheers .
TJU,
in Tassie if you happen to travel down the east coast there's a bike museum in Bicheno jam packed with every type of older bike you can imagine. Definately worth a stop. I can't remember the name of the joint.
And like Puddin said, Richardsons in Launceston is a must see.
Roo.
On the right hand side as you enter town FROM THE SOUTH.
Some of us go the other way..... :-)
Hey Tim,
I coulda saved $15 on postage for the tool roll had I known you were coming over.
I'll be down Bicheno way Sunday week, weather permitting. We doing the Fingal Valley, Elephant Pass, Bicheno to Swansea for a feed then back through Lake Leak to Launceston.
I'll be the fat bloke on the black Harley, you can't miss me. Don't forget to wave.
Have a great trip. Hope the weather is kind. Congrats on the hitching.
