He does have a few old exhibits inside the store but it's out the back in the service area where some of the older bikes are stored and they're not really visible unless things have changed in the last year or so.

Thanks for the reply ... have people got any recomendations for interesting Bike exhibits on our trip .

Going from Brisbane , New England Hwy , over to Dubbo , down through Albury Wodonga { check out Phil`s } , down to Geelong { stop in at Big Dealer ship there } , over to Tassie { Both Richardson`s shops } will be on island for 15 days , back to mainland up through Bainsdale and up to Bright , check out the high country , up to Canberra to pay respect to the Diggers , think there is a dealership there as well , then back up home .

So if there were any recommendations that didn`t take us to far off our route we might be able to go and have a sticky beek ... will be doing all the normal tourist stuff on the way as well like The Dish at Parkes on way down and heaps in Tassie plus a lot of the High Country as mentioned ... i know there are hundreds of places to see of interest but just thought there might be some unique places that we wouldn`t normally think of that the good people of this site might have some insite to .

    Cheers .

Thanks guys , appreciate the feedback ... Have done Nabiac , not a lot of Harley stuff but still very interesting ... Tamworth done a couple of times now ... Definitely will be checking out Richardson in Tassie ... Couple of other interesting choices there that I hope to get to .
Big road trip starts Thursday , 4 weeks on the road with a Wedding in Tassie on the way ... Was hoping to take the new Road Glide but just to much stuff ... So the compromise with the new Mrs to be was checking out as many interesting things as possible and if Bikes were associated with them all the better hence the inquiry of places to visit ... So thanks again for the suggestions .

    TJU,

in Tassie if you happen to travel down the east coast there's a bike museum in Bicheno jam packed with every type of older bike you can imagine. Definately worth a stop. I can't remember the name of the joint.

And like Puddin said, Richardsons in Launceston is a must see.

    Roo.

Glad I asked for suggestions ... Some great places to visit ... Am staying in Launceston as well so another place to check out ... Getting Hitched as well in Launceston ... Lucky for me the new Mrs loves bikes as well , Lol .
Not all about bikes though ... Was told about a place called Wall in the Wilderness up near Derwent bridge ... Amazing Wood Carvings .

Was at a place called Bingara today on way to Narrabri , fantastic old buildings right out of the 50's and older ... If pics come through will be of Old time Movie house and Milk bar ... Nice little town ... Wish I could live in that Era but with today's bikes .

    Hey Tim,

I coulda saved $15 on postage for the tool roll had I known you were coming over.

I'll be down Bicheno way Sunday week, weather permitting. We doing the Fingal Valley, Elephant Pass, Bicheno to Swansea for a feed then back through Lake Leak to Launceston.

I'll be the fat bloke on the black Harley, you can't miss me. Don't forget to wave.

Have a great trip. Hope the weather is kind. Congrats on the hitching.

Been on the island for 4 days now ... frigging amazing weather so far .. ( rain for sure now , lol ) .. Wedding went off without a hitch down in the Launceston Gardens ... visited Richardson's at Prospect , real nice setup he has there and some great old bikes upstairs .
In the 4 wheeler for this trip but still great taking in the country side ... did the north east up to Georgetown over to Bridport down to Scottsdale , St.Helens , St.Marys , Fingal and back over to highway and back up to Launceston ... those roads up through the Myrtle Forrest from Scottsdale through to St.Hellens and St.Marys are incredible ... did them 12 years ago on a bike and they seem even better now , have to come back again on a bike .

It's  a little fresher this time of the year but i have been getting all these strange looks because I'm  getting around in thongs , shorts , and t.shirts and most of the locals think I'm nuts as they are all rugged up , Lol .

Still have 11 days in Paradise to go so just keeping the fingers crossed that the bad weather dosent set in .

One strange thing though haven't seen  very many bikes yet ... but have been waving at the fat blokes on black harleys just in case Roo Ted , Lol .
