Getting a lot of negative coverage from the press as to be expected, sharks just a hazard with surfing, no worse than Bike vs Car on our roads ! 

what makes me laugh are the snowflakes that get twisted panties over a lion being shot in africa but next breath calling for drum lines & shark culls.  lol.

Yup, Killerchef. As an old bloke and ex-surfer (Skeg head ) and a traveller , had many sharks going for a bight. Surfing outta the mouth of Murray paddling for a wave, bloody shark saw my hand going in and out , (of water) and I hit the barstead on the back as he was going to remove my hand, he more scared than me...mmm. An"other time surfing on Christmas day ( If I didn"t ride I'd surf, as NO cunts around) two white pointers bailed me up, (I knew them from previous occasions, as one had like 303 rounds through it"s fin. cheeky buggas.) I paddled to a reef I knew was out of their reach, just, and used surfboard to hit the water to scare them.. Young and foolish, if only knew now. But they were cool, and buggered off.

Yep, it's fucking disgraceful!.
Surfing events from now on should be held in big man made beaches/pools, with wave machines and 10 massive hungry white pointers per surfer.
Points to be scored from surfers skill riding the waves with bonus points for limbs being  bitten off.

Dunno what has happened to surfing these days. I've had a few close calls with sharks over the years and its always been exciting LOL

Back in the day MP and Rabbit would have dropped an acid trip and paddled out, Tom Carrol and would have smoked his crack pipe and definetly padled out, Andy Irons would swallow some pills and Ross Clarke Jones............well he's just straight out mad LOL
