V & H short shots problem Breakout

    Had the guys at HH build a breakout for me last year with V & H short shots. ( i wasn't aware at the time the short shots are not designed to be put on Breakouts)

    Now I find out from me trusted independent mechanic that these pipes are not designed for Breakout and they do not fit properly. The O2 sensor rubs like hell on the oil line and could cause me some unwanted dramas down the track.

    HH advertise these pipes as fitting all softail models except Breakout..Pretty pissed that they fitted them knowing about it. 

    Anyone here had experience with short shots on a breakout? Or punching on with HH to get their shit replaced?

    Power commander is a ripper idea loopie I hadn't thought of that....you're right the clowns at HH don't appear to care about anything other than money, once they take your cash that's it all customer service gone out the fuckin window!
    I'll attempt to punch on with them and see how far I get anyway.

    Update on the pipes.
    After some discussions HH came to the party and have offered to replace the short shots with pipes of my choice that will fit on the Breakout. Pretty stoked!

    I love the sound of the big radius Hound Dog but every 2nd breakout I see has them unfortunately. Have decided to keep with the short 2 into 2 style and go with the freedom radical radius, similar to the V&H side shots.
    Absolutely great outcome Humbug, and barely had to spill any blood for the result :)
