Well as i have just returned from Vietnam flying business class with Jetstar i think that they deserve a bit of credit for the way they handled the drama we had.  Long story short, we were delayed in Vietnam for 21 hrs due to the pilot getting pissed the night prior and therefore unable to fly, yes its true! Due to immigration laws we were told we had to sleep in the departure lounge for that time! Sanity prevailed and we were able to commence our stay at the hotel we had checked out of at midnight at around 3am by this stage. The flight did depart an hour late next day and was uneventful, Jetstar then were able to put us on a connector flight within 10 min of arriving at the domestic terminal , open a new check in desk for the Mrs and i only and rush us thru. That plane then was delayed for 1.5hrs on the tarmac with a technical issue but finally home. Jetstar customer service contacted us! and we have had a full refund for 1 way business class from Vietnam, 1 night accommodation, all meals as well as the conector flight home plus an extra $20 for incidentals. Pretty impressive response without any claim from us.

You all heard the one about the Jetstar flight that encounters a particularly rough patch of turbulence, and the captain (probably this one coming off a bender) comes on the intercom to reassure the passengers that everything is okay and that the flight should be smooth one the rest of the way. He forgets to turn off the intercom after his announcement, however, and everyone in the passenger cabin hears his subsequent comment to the co-pilot: “Boy, I sure could use a blow job and a cup of coffee right about now!” As a flight attendant frantically rushes up the aisle towards the cockpit to warn the captain that his microphone is open, a passenger calls out after her, “Don’t forget the coffee!”

Delayed 21 hrs because the Pilot was getting over a big night. Immigration said you have to wait/sleep in the departure lounge? At 0300 hrs you're back in your hotel. Your flight departed an hour late the next day? Connecting flight left 1.5 hrs late? Fuck, Been in this game for 22+ years that doesn't sound to good to me. Aviation used to be a great gig to be in , But now ???????????????? Nope!

Doubt you would have gotten the same service on cattle class.......

Definitely don't receive the same treatment in Cattle Class.
I've done that 01:50 hours flight from HCMC to Sydney with a 3 hour delay at the start with a change of plane and gate departure.
That said, they do their best with what they have available.
And the price one pays is generally commensurate.

Wow, that is service. Jetstar must have been extra worried about their pissed pilot. What if the media got hold of that?
