Kuryakyn Hyper Charger ES "Be warned"

    Just fitted the above to a 2017 Breakout (FXSB)...So much for the "plug and play" feature!

    Note the following:

    1) Wiring loom provided [to coil] does not fit the 2017 "Delphi" HD OEM part.  Local bike shop [private] gave me a 2015 coil..and Bingo the loom fit's!

    2) Breather bolts and gaskets supplied leave a lot to be desired!....Quick 200k and oil leaks!

    3) Many e-mails direct to the States [including an early morning phone call]...& the "bell-ends" still don't understand the wiring loom issue!
    Ive sent photo's and they still the argue the loom is correct????

    Vent complete! But be warned!

    I didn’t think they could get any uglier but they proved me wrong.
    To the OP, sorry you will most like not find a lot of support for them here as they have a crap reputation all the way back to the 90’s.  they were snake oil then and didn’t work so the brand has little support s far as Hyper chargers is concerned.

    Question:  Why does it have a wiring loom?  the original units were vacuum operated so are they using a solenoid or something now?

    I don't think that anyone has a good word about these, not that I have seen.
