    I have a 2000 with a gauge, but don't have a stock oiling system.
Hot idle, you could see as low as 5 psi, maybe lower.
    Mine will stay over 15psi hot idle, ~ 35psi at 3000 .

Go to your local parts shop and buy a cheap ($40) mechanical car gauge and measure it.

Yep as speedzer said oil pressure drops of when hot at idle low I’ve seen my evos  drop down
To  8 or so psi on a hot day in traffic but if you goggle e.r.t products in the states thay make a
Relief spring upgrade kits for harleys to tailor your oil pressure .   depending on what climate
Your in oil cooler helps too

Volume is more important than pressure.

I am not aware of a Harley Davidson oil pressure test that is not performed without having the engine up to running temperature and the specified grade oil hot, also the test RPM is 2000 ,or for early [30's to 60's] engines without tacho's 20mph hot in top gear, the observed pressure read on a gauge will need to comply with the book spec for your model ,this procedure has been in place since 1936 or so.
If the above test is performed and the pressure is within your bikes specs and you have a light on or blinking at idle ,this suggests increased internal bleed in the oil circuit with the pump feed rate too low at idle to extinguish the lamp, as one example of a circumstance to investigate.
Pan ,Shovel and Evo engines can have wildly varying oil pressure cold to hot.

    Cheers.

Thanks Perthhog and Hoodeng.    Reason i need oil pressure at idle is for Turbo as one i have is bush as opposed to bearing.   dont want to chance it running without enough fluid.

Install the high volume upgrade kit in the engine to accommodate the bleed for the turbo , much as i don't like them run the gauge permanently as well as the warning light as your circuit is now non standard. If you can , make the oil pressure warning lamp a higher wattage and blinking. The engine will get by on lower oil supply pressure for a while , your turbo won't.
