Night Train Saddlebags

Gents,
looking for an elegant solution for luggage without damaging the paint and destroying the lines of the bike when the bags are removed.
What is the best mounting hardware that detaches quickly and easily and allows me to carry leather or soft saddlebags of which there appear to be a million options ?
It needs to be black and not chrome as that the whole point of the bike.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

Hi mate. My bike is an FXST which is pretty well identical to the night train cept it aint black.
I bought a pair of these brackets (I think they are called "Easy Brackets". There is a similar option out there called "Ghost Brackets")
With the kit you get the mounting lugs x4 that bolt onto the rear fender bracket, plus 2 of the steel, lockable brackets that you can mount to whatever sort of bag, box, suitcase etc that you want.
If using a softish sort of saddle bag like mine it is a good idea to re-inforce the inside with a bit of aluminium or similar. See pic.
The mounting lugs are quite inconspicuous when the bags are not on the bike plus they are designed to work with the HD detachable sissy bar if you need to.
They are cool as you can pretty well fit any type of bag to them you want or just a lunch box if you prefer.

Hi Far Canal,
Thanks man. That is exactly what I need. Looks unobtrusive off, an secure when on.
Thank you for going to all that trouble.
Really appreciated.
Cheers
