Well it would be a copy of a copy, but as long as you weren't too nitpicky about precise replica badging and details, it should be a doable job. Would be a useful bike too.
Who knows, Tex might ride again.

Because I owned 5 W2 650 kawas through the 70's in my pre Norton days, I learned a bit about the Bosozoku  who loved them in the pre CB750 60s when they were the biggest and baddest Japanese bike. Knew there was a movie about the culture called Godspeed you Black Emporer, from 1976, but never thought to go looking for it. Can't find the full movie online, but here's the trailer.
The nostalgic sound of Jap fours revving out. Prefer V or parallel twins, but the sound of high revving fours was a sound track of the times as most of my mates swapped over.

I was hooked on the howl while my mates were into the potato potato, i liked them well enough they just were not fast enough at the time, maybe that's why I can't leave things stock, even my chainsaw is modded......true story.

One of the most copied songs ever. When some of the original band members give it a standing ovation it is worth a listen.

Have modern Harley's got much metric on them? Not talking V Rods or Streets of course. Mines only got the battery terminal bolts.

Yeah... i remember in 88 a matey just bought a new sporty and rang me up later that night totally loosing his chit because he found out the forks were Showa....  dude was seriously pissed and rand the dealer as well.  cracked me up a bit as that last thing i would want on my bike is a set of USA substandard forks back then.  needless to say he finally calmed down long enough to ride the thing.  i did have fun pointing out the carb being a jappa as welll.....

In the world of mobile phone cameras, footage of something in history that would previously have been a spoken tale. A soccer game, lightning and a direct fatal hit to a person's neck. (Graphic content warning)
