  Ha Ha Steve thanks for the warning.....never doubted that irresponsible behaviour was in your repertoire having chased you up twisty roads on the odd occasion.... Now that's my kinda music at 5000 rpm coming from in front and behind!

  One of those runs up the mountain in particular I was hitting the rev limiter in 2nd, that's 5500 on the Vic 106.

  But only in a very law abiding and safety conscious way.

  Absolutely Steve safety was always our primary concern....and we need to point out that all of this activity was done on a private road not available to members of the public.

  Does this mean we can block the road off on Sundays and charge people admission to do a run up the mountain? That would help fund my retirement.

  Those blokes really know what they're doing, a lot of skill on show there. Anyone recognise what bike the tanks are for?

  It reminds me of a place I worked at in Brisbane in 1976, MIG and TIG welder making stainless steel exhausts and mufflers. The level of tooling was about the same. At least we had boots.

  Bugga, what gave you the clue?

  I love the way the video shows that they really know their tooling. There must be an imperfection in the press die for the tank base, so there's a bloke who inspects every one and fixes it, gives them a waddy with what looks like a piece of pipe, accurate flogging with no wasted motion.

  The Royal Enfield factory in Chennai looks like a modern plant, but I suppose there's a lot of aftermarket production for crash repairs.
