I tried riding a Bmw gs1200. You mean that’s not a motorbike kk?

Could you put your feet on the ground when you stopped it Steelo?.
I have always found it difficult to consider BMW's as motorcycles. Always seen them as very ugly, easier to compare them to a hat full of sphincters.

BMW began making motorcycles in 1923.
Although BMW haven't been making them for 100 years just yet ,they have been making them longer than you ,or your difficulties, have existed....isn't that right Mr. Hat?

Hey Pauly, as it happens I am going up to QLD (Gympie) in a couple of days to visit an old cobber from Sydney. He has just bought a HD Sportglide with a stage 4 kit and also has a late model BMW R9T for FC to ride. Kind of looking forward to throwing the leg over the ugly BMW. A bit like rooting a chick with a great body but with a paper bag over the head  methinks.

Here are 3 pictures;1923 HD and 1923 BMW and the first Harley the 1903.
The 1903 looks a bit too much like a pushbike?

What a patient and gentle staffy!.
I had a lamb whose mother rejected it.
The little lamb just adored my dog.
My dog however is a snitchy cunt of a thing and just wanted to kill the lamb.
I had to get a muzzle for the dog for the sake of the lamb. The muzzle just made the dog hate the lamb even more.

    That's a lovely story FC.

One day I went to visit my grandfather at his farm and noticed a pig with a wooden leg. My curiosity roused, I asked, "Grandpappy, how'd that pig get him a wooden leg?"

"Well, young Steelo, that's a mighty special pig! I won him in a raffle at the local show. A while back a wild boar attacked me while I was walking in the woods. That pig there came a runnin', went after that boar and chased him away. Saved my life!"

"And the boar tore up his leg?"

"No he was fine after that. But a bit later we had a fire. Started in the shed up against the barn. Well, that ole pig started squealin' like he was stuck, woke us up, and 'fore we got out here, the darn thing had herded the other animals out of the barn and saved 'em all!"

"So that's when he hurt his leg, huh, Granddad?"

"No, young Steelo. He was a might winded, though. When my tractor hit a rock and rolled down the hill into the pond I was knocked clean out. When I came to, that pig had dove into the pond and dragged me out 'fore I drownded. Sure did save my life."

"And that was when he hurt his leg?"

"Oh no, he was fine. Cleaned him up, too."

"OK, Granddad. So just tell me. How did he get the wooden leg?"

"Well", the farmer tells him, "A good little pig like that, you don't eat him all at once!"

What a mean old "grandpappy" you had Steelo.
We did used to eat our own sheep, but only having a few acres and only so many sheep you get to know them a bit like pets and you feel like Judas on steroids dropping them off at the local abattoir.
Hard to beat a nice homegrown roast leg of lamb though, or lamb chop, or rack of lamb cutlets but you do get a fair few bad bits too when you kill a whole sheep. You know, put out a dinner invite for neck chops or stomach flaps or even forequarter chops, roast etc and people tend not to turn up for a feed. These days we are happy to buy the good bits from the supermarket like everyone else.
Got an arty, poncey, step brother in law who was keen to try eating a rabbit. So he took the one rabbit he had reared to the local abotoir to get it slaughtered.
Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when he dropped it off.

I completely understand FC. I once unsuccessfully tried to get a rabbit cut up at the butchers and they told me they "don't split hares"

Glad we are on the same page old boy.
In my wild youth I was crazy over hair pie.
It just does not seem so enticing when it nears 60 years old.
Lets not go down that road right now.

Stumbled upon this video and found it to be better than anything on free to air television here in Tassie.
I do have a soft spot for custom builds and choppers, if you do not then you might not like it.

    Neither could mine Stu.
A couple of them had rear shocks and some had sprung seats, maybe some even had softail type frames?.
But good call, hardtails are really for the young, easily repairable types.
