    The driver did a sterling job.

    Ha Ha its a fucking crazy place Mexico. We never had a problem in the locals areas we went, in fact they were really friendly but when in the tourist section in Cancun we felt really safe. We headed down to grab some beers and noticed a shit load of police walking up from the beach towards us. About halfway down the line of cops one guy in very good English asks us where we are going, before we could answer there was a shit load of gunshots ahead of us. The cops just kept walking and never turned around, we were told to just turn around and go back to the hotel. We were all shitting ourselves and learnt next day that it was drug cartel turf war and 5 or 6 dead with about the same injured. Cops obviously in on the gig. You can buy ANYTHING if you have the money in Mexico. Very fond memories of the place.
