I’m running a Stage IV SS big bore cam hooligan kit on my 2015 883 now 1250. Its done 3k since upgrade, 7k total. I have a mild leak at the cylinder base gasket. I’ve read the feeds and most are quite old. It seems this is a common issue with the big bore upgrades. Yes l warm it up, but do ride it hard. I have mixed opinions on solutions, the most practicle seems to be replace with copper gaskets. Has anyone experienced similar issues and if so, what was the solution. How much does it cost?

i would have the bottom of da barrel machined & use a copper base gasket , annealed with copper gasket vht spray minimum
