2,900 km’s in 3 days, lots of sticky mud through the gorges around the Northern Flinders after the rains up north. The Pig handled herself quite well.
had a mate that did the Simpson Desert on the mighty Triumph Xca along with 5 Kato 1190R's
Boy did that test the Triumph .............up 1100 sandhills and it NEVER even looked like getting hot / boiling ..
I saw him doing 60Kph on the speedo but the bike was at walking pace going up the hill ( think about that )
i was sure it would have boiled ( nope never did)
The African Twin is GREAT value ...........Darryl Beattie followed us ( we followed him really i suppose) across the deseert as we headed over for Finke 2016
He kicked ass on the African Twin ( only one in the country at the time i think too)
Well, I shall second that .
My 75 Mk3 Commando
