Did a swap for my standard RK Saddle, which I don’t use, for a RK special version. Haven’t got it yet, it’s in the mail. The RKS Saddle is also the same as on the glide bikes. Anyone have any knowledge of how it would sit me compared to the RK standard Saddle? As in, further back, a touch lower etc?

Remembering pics I’ve seen around here.....I reckon LoftyBob has/had the RKS Saddle on his 17 FLHR.....so Bob - if you see this, chime in brother.....

Dan have done this to my 2018 king as daily rider seat and it’s a bit closer and lower as said, I like the look of it and feel and I’m 6ft1 no problems. I thinking a hammock for the long 2 up rides as you’ve got as well but trying to find a test seat for the amount of $ I want to make dame sure

Thnxs blokes - yeah dyna I already have a Hammock for long trips away and for the missus’ benefit.....this RKS Saddle came up as a straight swap for my standard FLHR Saddle, so I thought I’d do it given I reckon it looks better. I’m 6’2”. Might be ok hey? I tried one at a dealer - Wackers were happy for me to take it for a week. I went with the older version, moves you back. The newer one brings you forward. Can dig out a part # if you like.

Pauly - getting it for looks but if it sits me forward too much it’ll sit in a box under the house where my standard King Saddle was before I swapped it for this one!

I also have a brawler solo which I love cos it’s sits me back plenty and down lower too.....so that helps my fit.

Sat the seat next to each other and even though it looks like the  street glide is closer when you sit it on bike it sits lower and angled which gives you more room

Cheers Dan that’s got to keep the misses happy , looking for a two up touring option as we have been doing a few 4/5 day trips and the standard seat is to cramped and uncomfortable after the first half day for me but the cooks happy so half way there. Might ring dealer tomorrow and see if the sundowner they have suits tourer.

Well, the Road King Soecial Saddle turned up and it’s fitted and riden. Definately sits me back and a touch lower than the stock M8 FLHR Saddle. Much prefer it. Happy days.

If you really like the look and shape but find it a little uncomfortable you can always get the foam replaced which does make a big difference.
