My self and lots of riders go for quick trips to the pub, shops, work and so on, wearing shorts we all have one thing in common.....
a burn mark on the right hand calve over and over again

When touring and it rains on goes the waterproofs they all have one thing in common ....

melted plastic on pipes and holes in waterproofs

My idea is to make one size fits all piece of kevlar goes around the calve under the knee dose up and undoes by velcro, folded up would be as big as a hanky os fits into your pocket when at the bar etc

about as big as 300mm x 300mm cheap easy to mass produce and I recon we would all buy one

Please what do you think would you buy one from me? I'v never seen anything like it for sale.

When I have kevlar jeans I can touch the pipes and no problems
When I were shorts altho I try but just that slight touch and yep a mother burn
This happens mainly when parking the bike or rolling the bike from parking

I'm visualising something that looks like a gardeners gator with elastic at the top. I'm sorry my friend but I probably would not buy one due to the moderate riding temperatures in Adelaide. I'm either wearing plain jeans, kevlar jeans, or dririder style trousers. I never ride with shorts. I have noticed that kevlar cloth is not exceedingly expensive on ebay. Good luck though.
Just a thought. They could be popular with bike mechanics in workshops as safety wear.

Sorry mate a no from me, if you ever get a chance to see the tatts all over my legs you will see why
I defiantly don't wear shorts anymore on a Harley, always Kevlar for me, but some VRod riders I see
riding around Melb could possibly buy your product, good luck.

I understand, I would turn up at a mates shop in Goolwa wearing shorts on my bike and he would go of his face about safety
Its the hot weather bikers Im appealing to
altho have you ever burnt your waterproofs when wearing them over the top of your kevlar jeans

    Yes from me.
I’m a shorts rider, especially to Bunnings, only way to get a park or going to gym. Never touched the headers but just the radiant heat is a leg killer, once after gym it was so freakin hot I celotaped a small towel to my right calf. Worked fine so with the right design I’d likely be a buyer. It might need to be thicker than a single layer.

no for me.  I wear my Kevlar jeans even on 40+ days
(I do encourage the young guys to wear shorts though as I'm getting older and might need organ transplants at some stage.)
