Hi all,   just fitted a new set of freedom shark tail exhaust system to my 98 heritage classic.  One small problem is the gearshift linkage sits up hard against the bottom of the cross over pipe with no clearance what so ever.   Have emailed the manufacturer and awaiting a reply.   They are the correct pipe for the model.   Has anyone had this problem before and how was it rectified? 

I had that exhaust on my slim and it had no problems with clearance.
