Great first video. The two rotary black Nortons, riders also in black leathers, made them look like the dastardly villains of the race.
Both shooting past the other bikes before that corner, their brakes must have been top spec.

    If I do remember correctly.
    The seals were an issue?

Mate had a rx4 ported, awesome thing to drive and he said the early motors had shit seal material that were known to shatter and cause serious damage but better ones were developed that solved most issues, there were some shonky mechanics around as well who did shit rebuilds that didn't last and many regular engine builders  wouldn't touch them. If built by someone who knew what they were doing  they were brilliant,  reliable engines and license killers.

Hey stinky, I really enjoyed Finn and Rotary.
Nearly bought one of those Rotary Suzuki"s, but thought the thing above speedo and Rev meter, was a breadbox. Plus, did not want to own anything with Wankel written on it. Bought the Suzuki 1000 S instead.

Seems like you are a bit of a Norton enthusiast there Smellyfinger.
Thought you might enjoy this Old picture of a Norton that I had seen on another forum site.
    It is a 1907 model.
