Intermittant engine problems

So recently I've noticed the bike will hiccup almost like the spark is being cut for a moment, usually when I blip the throttle to down shift, or when I apply power coming out of corners and less often when I'm accelorating taking off from the lights. It's a 2010 883 with 5000km on it.
Any ideas what it could be?

leads are nice and tight, plugs are like new, breathers are good,
No codes that I could find.

Brucefxdl, what should the resistance be across the plugs?
StinkFinger, it wouldn't surprise me if there were more seals going. The tyres started falling apart when I rode it home from the guy I bought it off and the fork seals let go not long after but so far everything else Ive checked seems to be in good shape. I'm pretty sure its not blowing smoke. Where would I find a vacuum leak? I didn't think there was much in the way of vacuum leaks on the EFI sporties.
One thing I noticed today is it seems to idol a little high. I know it's not unusual for them to idol higher on cold start but I noticed it today sitting at the lights. And before someone suggests it, the cables are adjusted correctly.

Any chance there could be water in the fuel that is being sucked in when you open the throttle?
It accumulates at the lowest point.

Krash, yes it's EFI.
I sprayed parts cleaner in a few places and there was a drop in revs when I sprayed around the front injector seat. I would have thought that it would pick up revs though if it was sucking in extra fuel.
It hadn't happened for a few days then yesterday it happened twice, the first damn near threw me off the bike because the road was tamp and the rear wheel locked up when I down shifted. Maybe I'll have to ride like an old granny for a while.
