If you have a Microsoft hosted email addresses like @outlook.com, @live.com, @hotmail.com

Not to be a complete dumbass, but what's a subscription email - like a newsletter?  On other sites you can subscribe to a thread, but I didn't think we had that? 
My registered email is hotmail btw...and I've never had a HDA email as far as I can remember, other than first signup.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I suspected, no emails are being sent to Microsoft email addresses.  The email from a subscription should arrive pretty much instantly.  It does to my gmail address.  Thanks for testing it for us.  I'll need to get onto them again to get it sorted.

Hi mate. Yep I have a hotmail account and I never receive any notifications for inboxes, password reset or the like. Haven't for a long time. Thanks for putting in the effort to fix issues like this.

This should now be fixed.  I've had to create a gmail account for the site to send emails. Those with Microsoft email addresses should now get subscription emails again.
