Never been a fan of German bikes.
Wouldn't mind a WW2 Zundap with sidecar and machine gun though, in the shed.
This might be an interesting video to watch If you are really bored or bed bound in hospital. Or not much else on telly tonight.
Warning, there are some subtitles to read.

I am a fan of German Motorcycles,
German motorcycles are really interesting, BMW speaks for itself , world class they were and still are, I can remember back in the '70's a BMW cost more than a Harley,
A lot of the manufacturers have gone now like Zundapp, Horex, DKW and heaps of others, Harley copied the DKW 125 to make their own 125 back in '48 ?,
Zundapps were the heavy bikes with sidecars during WW2, they even made a K800 opposed 4, super cool,
And what about that '70's Munch Mammoth , I saw one of those back in '83 at the Winton Motorcycle Races and it was for sale, IIRC $10k, a lot of money back then, but boy that would have been a good investment,
And the Scooters, Germans made the best Scooters in the world back in the '50s and 60's, all gone now, they were of too high a quality and cost when compared to the Italians, but in the end cheap won, there were a lot great scooters all gone now eg Heinkel, DKW, Maico,
Also there would be no Triumph today if it wasn't for Siegfried Bettman ,
here's a pic of that Munch, the for sale and price are written on tape on the tank, we went to the races in my mates brand new XE Falcon, I think it cost him $12-13k, today that XE $200 if your lucky, the Munch $150k on a bad day,
