Harley 1 Kangaroo 0 . Front and rear crash bars saved the day , but badly bent . Impact on pannier was enough to spring lid open . 100km/h impact, very lucky .

Hi Tim
Fark, that was close. Hope you had clean undies to put on after that. Buy a lotto ticket.
Aside from that, hope you guys had a good snowies run. Jackson is barely recognisable from last year. No longer a boy aye
Hope to join up with you in a couple of years' time on another snowies ride

Ooh that could've been ugly.
Makes you shudder thinking about it.

Hi Tim. Very sorry to hear of your incident with the roo. I hope you are ok? Did you need to put the bike down or able to keep it upright? The front lowers with the bars prob gave extra protection. Cheers.

I was only looking at a SG yesterday & thinking whether those big ugly crash bars are really necessary - I have the answer from you now.
Glad you're ok.

Lucky indeed Tim. Been close with a wild pig but never hit anything heavy.

Curious whether your son was up ahead when it happened or witnessed the unfolding event from behind - either way it would have shook him up being a new rider.

Well there’s ya problem — your bike is black. Poor skip thought you were a swarm of bees.
Get a red one*
*I’ve hit one on my red HD, but my skip was colourblind, stupid, suicidal and been drinking heavily as was gender confused.
Glad you came out of it ok, all things considered.
