It's been a while since I've posted but as the topic says I've got some serious problems with my gear box.
After only just replacing the drive belt, alt, primary chain and rear sprocket on my 99 WG 12 months ago it now looks like the whole left side will have to come off again.
I have drive in all the first 4 gears but once in top drive is lost followed by grating noise and jolting when she does find some teeth or splines.
So my question is what's the going price for a total rebuild of the box over here in WA.

That sounds interesting might have to see if there is a recall but I think it's age might out rule a recall.
Don't know till ya ask bikes only done 95k.
