    Hi All
I am getting a night dragon fitted to the rear of my sporty. 180 rear.

Can anyone comment on if you have replaced these with the michellin scorcher . I am curious on the tread life i hear the grip is great.
The bigger twin bikes dont get the best mileage

    Thanks

I find it quite strange that my michellin scorcher tyres with 8000 kms look like they have hardly worn and a night dragon can only get 5 to 6000kms. Do you think the weight of the bike maybe be an issue ?

I fitted a Night Dragon recently, and find the dry traction pretty ordinary.
This is with a 160 fitted to an early Dyna.
Probably a cause of high than normal HP, but the tyre I took off wasn't as bad.
    Would not buy another.

Cbf buying tyres every service sounds like treadlife is crap.

14000kms here, and the stock scorchers still look new with tread....only do city riding though. But man, I'd rather have banana skins for tyres than this crap Scorchers in wet. :(

They give good life!....   Like any tyre they do let go in the wet (mine let go on a turn going downhill in the wet when I hit some oil on the road - very controlled slippage though so even though I nearly wet myself the bike stayed upright and control returned immediately)
