I dont mind the look of  Finn Motos  102 model saddle bags and easy fit brackets.
    https://finnmoto.com.au/102-tek-leather-saddlebags/

Anyone fitted or had anything to do with this stuff.?  If so is it any good, not bad price at $658 all up.
They are what they call Tek leather, so not real leather but apparently quite hard wearing.  I will only be fitting them every once in a while.

Just looked at those us saddlebags. Probably good but you're right that they're exy between 860 and 960 usd.
I'm looking at leatherpro bags. Again they're not cheap either but quality, fit, size and customer service is supposed to be awesome

I like the Viking stuff but I heard the same reviews.  fall out of shape easily etc. etc.
Not going to Spend a fortune as they will get used only a few times if that, a year.

Saddle bags seem to be ridiculously overpriced.
The "easy brackets" or "ghost brackets" are a good alternative, because with these numbers you can turn just about anything into a saddlebag. (within reason).
Only going for a day trip? Then you can mount a lunch box to them no problems.
Going for a few days? then any sort of suitcase, gladstone bag, satchel, can be fitted.

    Hey binnsy,
I have the "easy brackets" from Finn Moto that i put on my fixed HD bags to make them detachable they work great & easy to fit.
Finn Moto are really good to deal with as well.

I am with The Big fella.
I too have been dealing with Matt since 2009.
Bought my Textile & leather vest from him back then and still use them today. Back then he was known as Aust sales direct. He is at West Gosford Nsw. ( not far from Me)
I put the leather panniers he sells onto my 2011 fxst when my bike was 2 months old. They are still in great condition. Done over 48000km including lap of Oz. I got the Edge brackets back then. These are quick release & lockable to bike. Plus the saddlebags as well as the click lock straps, are also key lockable.
