Hi.
My 2015 Xl1200t has an intermittent idle problem.  At random times it will not idle under 3000+ rpm.  Local service say nothing mechanical wrong.  This leaves electrics & electronics.
Has anyone else had this fault?  Any ideas on whats going on  and what can be done to fix it?

and they are not that expensive to replace so if in doubt replace them.  I chased an intermittnat low rpm stumble for weeks until I tracked it down to a worn/buggered TPS.

Recently I put a stage 1 with Rinehart mufflers.  The problem started long before the upgrade. The bike has done 25000 km.

my IAC  did that from about 15k to 20k, i bought a manual screw adjustable one, once set it fine just give it abit more opening in winter or hold the idle up for a minute and she`s fine from there, no more dramas for the last 11k or buy a new IAC.

i think stink finger is right about the reason for it happening!
