Lift Jack questions.

G'day everyone. I was just looking at previous posts on this subject today and I now have an idea on what people are using. Good, so I might get one as well. My question is, has anyone used them on any of 2018 models yet. Any issues. Is there anything I should look out for.

Old trick for new players
Always leave your bike stand down when on the jack my jack looses compression very slowly.
I retuned from holidays and the bike was standing leaning by its self against the wall luckily,
The jack had fully gone down

lucky bike was near the wall up on that stand bd!
I think get a block of wood or something and when bike up on hydraulic stand put the block of wood so if stand starts to go down the block will keep it up.supporting bike off the ground, good idea keeping tyres up off ground if standing for a while.

the Repco ones (orange) are very good and this time of year they have the sales going on
+ they have the lock positions at 3 levels of lift

Some great tips there. Thank you all. I like the sound of the repco lift. Being able to lock in 3 positions is awesome. Repco it is.

Beware the cheap ones Stew. I got a Repco one a few years back, first lift with the wifes Vstar on it the thing sheared a pivot bolt head, the bolt head ricocheted off two walls as the Vstar tried to buck it's way off the stand onto my Harley parked beside. I opted for cash back when they offered a replacement lift.

I been using repco lift for 15 years, other uses include transmission jack, moving dolly.

Yep, got a Repco lift also. Missus works for them so got the employee deal. Had it 2 years and like all, they do drop over a short time unless locked in. Other than that, no issues.
