I'm getting used to the ground clearance, the engine noise, the air cooling and heat flow. The only thing I'm really struggling with is the second gear ratio. It's geared fairly high which is nice at highway speeds but going around corners I can never work out whether to use first or second.  Every other bike I've owned or ridden - second gear was ideal,  but on the Fatboy it's just a little too high, and first is just a little too low.

Anyone else feel the same way? Has anyone changed their second gear ratio?
