Kevlar shirts

    Hi all
Has anyone had any experience with these?

They all seem to be plaid and expensive. The former I don’t understand; the latter I do.

Is there a decent shirt that has protection but that doesn’t make you look like a lumberjack?

I’d like to be able to ride without leathers in summer, at city speeds, and still have drag protection and look ok to get into a club or restaurant without getting changed or carrying a heavy jacket. Does something like that exist?

Also, anything ok for her out there? I think the blokes have it bad but the ladies have it worse. It seems that unless it’s Dragin Jeans and a leather jacket, there’s nothing.

That can’t be right, especially when it’s 38 degrees at 7pm. Surely.

I used to have Dragin jeans, but last one's are R-Jays, not bad quality. There are a couple mobs that make Flannal sirts with Kevlar lining

Shark also have Flannal shirts with Kevlar lining.

The one I posted has denim jackets, lighter than leather but still with protection. Any shirt thick enough wouldn't be much thinner than the denim anyway.

Hey, many thanks guys. Those look pretty promising.
I didn’t know that Dragin made a vest. It basically makes my complaint pointless - you can wear what you like over the top.

    Anyway, thanks again.

I still have a jacket from 30 years ago. Is padded and very comfortable, is called 4 seasons, as such, is cool in summer and protective, plus does not look too bad.
I don"t know if they are still operating, but worth a look. I have around 6 motorcycle jackets, some have shrunk.....
