Unfortunately, $12k is a fair trade price for the Pan Am .

Not many buyers out there, so it will sit around for a long time on the floor .
    There's a 2021 at a dealer for $13k .

Cheers Speedzter....without knowing the info on the bike you mention its possibly plus on road costs. If you have a link i would be highly appreciative to pass on to my mate.

Well we all know you dont buy a bike as a investment but my mate bought a brand new Pan America in 2022, pipe , sump guard and a few bits and bobs just on 34k ride away. Hes done 3600klm and wants a BMW 1300GS...trade in price 12k. Thanks for coming.

yes the Pan America and the new Sportsters aren't selling as HD hoped (not the lifeline they were after), but 12k is not very fair trade, more than likely they will probably sell it for around 17k and have it sit in the shop for a while, so Pauly your mate probably needs a mare 30k on top of his trade for the new 1300GS

He can get a new 2025 with crash bars for 35k rideaway....minus his 12k trade. He has the option of a 2024 with 500klm demo with crash bars and slip on muffler for $33600 but they wont trade his bike.

Yes he did have a look thru bikesales for a idea prior. Lets just be kind and say he was unable to ride for a lengthy period of ownership....
