electrical problem

    Sparky has called around to my shed, he removed the fuel pump soldered wires and bogged this stuff around it and good to go " he reckons it will be good for many many years"......... any feedback from you mob would be good on this type of bog  "Photo below" 
    I now can start the bike { fuel pump working } and have dash lights neutral so on. 
    I do not have theres working, altho they are all hooked up? Blinkers, horn, tail light, back break or plate light. I have looked at the rocker wiring and these wires are all brown
