The latest release of the forum includes a recent activity column on the Home page and Active Topics pages.  This column displays recent posts that have images in them, with a thumbnail preview of the image.  The activity column only includes posts from public forums and will only display locally uploaded images.  This gives a visual queue of activity on the site. It's a somewhat experimental feature, so I'll tweak it if necessary.

Looks good to show at a glance some posted photos so people will have look atvthe actual thtead.

Thanks for the feedback.  I've changed the Post Activity to include posts from non-public forums if you're logged into the site.
