3 Piece Mags

    I have a set of 3 piece mags on my '00 Fatboy,  this morning I find a dome nut on the ground beside the wheel. Had a closer look and it was one of the nuts from the 30+ on the circumference of the rear mag. Looking at the break on the stud ( stud pulled out other side ) it looks like it has been just holding on by a micky hair for a while and finally dropped when I pulled in to work this morning.
    I've never touched these since Ive owned the bike but looking at the stud there is a bit of corrosion so will go through the whole lot on both front and rear to clean up and then refit.
    Question is what torque should they be done up to ( Look roughly 1/4" stud ).

    I'm guessing (hoping) these have been over-torqued in an earlier life and there's nothing other wrong.
