Anyone made their own adaptor to go from Harley Davidson 6 pin DLC port to OBD2 plug, for scan tool?

i have done the follwoing and doesnt seem to want to connect

OBD2 plug       6 Pin Deutsch DLC

4&5 <-------------> 2 Ground

6 <----------------> 1 CAN+

14 <-------------->  3 CAN-

16 <--------------> 5 POWER

I own a mechanical workshop and have a Snap On Verus Pro diagnostic tool. Snap On have just update their software to allow us to use them on HD, they want $700 for adaptor harness. I am sure it is easy enough to make one myself? it is only 6 wires.

I did some sniffing around but couldn't find much info.
They seem to be available on ebay.

Maybe snap on has something in place to prevent you from using a simple adapter to force you to pay for there's.
Your wiring looks to be correct between the Can-bus and OBD.
Would be worth trying a cheap OBD reader to see if your adapter works.

definitely exist, before powervision had to use one of these badboys.

Did anyone ever end up solving this? Can’t possibly be Snapon plug only. Only 2 pins left are a 12v brake light output on dlc and an accessories 12v output. I see Snapon uses a 12v plug in to there adapter. Fuck Snapon. Like 8k isn’t enough for the tool, now they want another $900 for the plug.
