Whichever is the most comfortable. I'd rather take a seat I wouldn't mind sitting on for hours and ride, than a seat which looks cool but makes the bike sit in my house :) My ass is hurting already looking at that solo seat. :)

I like the look the of the stock Iron seat.  I've never used one but looks pretty comfortable compared to the other one pictured.

The seat in the second picture looks ideal.....if it is a good collection of haemorrhoids you are after.
You might get away with it if you only do really short trips but one reasonably comfy seat is worth 10 bad ass ones when there is no one around to look at your bike.

The solo seat looks ok. I would look at a third option. I reckon there are some other options out there. Don't ask me where though. Cheers. And only you need to like it

I got the Sundowner solo for my 2012 sporty custom, because I couldn't source a Mustang wide touring locally. Couple of shops sold them and were charging a huge mark up compared to US. I thought I will eventually get one from US after I use the Sundowner, but TBH, the Sundowner solo is working fine for me now. Pretty comfy.
I've got front stretched footboards and am planning to get the rear passenger foot rests installed to get some more leg movement. An engine crash guard will allow me to install touring pegs which will make it even more comfier for longer trips. The suspension is on my next list of things to do. Got Bitwell Chumps handlebar and its comfy enough to split through traffic. I couldn't install any bigger apes because the Sporty custom comes with its stupid 4 inch riser built in...and removing it is a pain in the ass :|

Then I look back and realise, with all these mods, I might as well just buy a Roadking for touring and keep the Sporty Custom as the city bike. :) It took me 3 years and lots of money to make the previous ZRX the perfect touring bike I wanted it to be. Had Corbin gunfighter seats, +4 ignition advancers, ohlin shocks and forks, a nice fork brace (which didn't make me take the front mudguard off) and a full titanium muzzy exhaust. Kept switching seats, exhausts, shocks, re-jetting carbs till I found that sweet spot of love :P (Plus I was doing the same shit with the FTO...so yeah... Mrs wasn't happy is the greatest understatement) :)
