I'm doing some extensive work on my street and I noticed that once I reassembled the forks and the ignition barrel, the transport mode on my bike stopped working. ON the street you turn the key to ignition, then off and within 3 seconds you press the odo button. Well, it worked fine before, now since a few weeks back nothing happens and the alarm arms, OR even more weirdly the odo displays a message that transport mode is active, but it still arms the alarm as if nothing happened. 

Has anyone come across this issue? 

I'm thinking:

a) the extended period of the bike being in transport mode as I worked on it confused the ECM.

b) The bike has not been turned on for a while and once the engine is started and runs for a while, the ECM will sort itself out

c) I have a 3d printer running within 5 metres of the bike..could it be interference?

But honestly, its so bizarre, any help will be appreciated!
