I have it on good advice that the Mandurah toy run will be held on Saturday Dec 13th OOps not 6th......... It will probably be as last year, from the Ravenswood hotel car park leaving at about 10am and assemble at the Western foreshore, over the old Mand. bridge.
As soon as time and place of departure and destination is confirmed I will post.

rides are only long if the pace is that of a snail mate. Andij does runs to the state border before lunch and this state is not big enough for Crasher, he frequently runs outa road..................

I have had information given to me from a reliable source that our Chrome Gnome, who I am meeting at Collie after this Toy Run, is enforcing a rose smelling foray into the southern hinterland. My warning about a potential cop prescence must have inspired his holy shortness to rethink the speed demon constitution and thus enforce lower speed limits.
FYO is also hiding and not coming out to play, this I suspect is in retalliation to the our Gnomeness's edict............

well the Mandurah Toy Run has been and gone for another year.....
.... headed down to Ravenswood with Pigironbob via all the back roads... enjoyable run Bob thanks .... my pillion also enjoyed
.... FYO aka Karl did arrive early!!! but not at 180 on the Buell... dead battery saw to that... so he got there early on shrek (not saying why)
.... Bobtail never made the ride... dead battery also saw to that as did a flat replacement and dented wallet... did catch up with him before I split... heading back to Perth with my pillion ... took the coast road and stopped off in Rockingham for fish 'n chips by the beach... what a top day
.... Bobtail and Pigironbob were left to say their goodbyes to TNT (those bars look smick mate...) and Noel before heading south to smell some roses and catch up with Andij and Grumpy
Sorry folks no pics this time.... by all acounts a top turnout of bikes and think I heard it was a record... perhaps others can recall the number
A FARKING DAY TO FORGET.......
Ya gotta give it to the law of everages, for two years my bike started and ran faultlessly, come Sat morn all pumped up and rearing to go. I go through my reutine to warm up the motor as I get me gear on, turn on the main Ignition switch, press the starter button........NOTHING.......the battery is as flat as. NO jumper leads theyer at work. I jump into the ute and gets me another battery, figuring that the old is probably stuffed....so $255 later I put the battery in ( which was supposed to be precharged) and hit the starter.....NOTHING......test voltage on battery and it's about 10v, should be 14ish.....Jump in ute and gets me a set of jumperleads...after a lot of pushing and shoving gets the ute and bike together hook up and after a few trys she finaly fires. In the mean time the toy run is well under way.........Belatedly I went down to the Foreshore to catch up with whoever was left there.........
Going to SWHD to see why me battery failed after only two years.........bike is only just outta warranty
Saw HO and his passenger, FYO, Piggy and Noel & my grandson......Sorry that I missed others
By all accounts it was a great turn out......
