    Hey Lads
I need to get a tuner for my bike as the Muppet who originally had the bike and fitted the tuner never sent the damn thing with the bike when it was sold. No the question i have is what tuner is best to go with, do i go with a Screamin Eagle and get that and have only Harley Davidson be able to tune my bike or do i look at a V&H FP3 or a
    Thundermax tuner?

None of them are spelled correctly.  It's DynoJet Power Vision.

I've got the V&H FP3 and I highly recommend it.  Very simple to use and lots of great features.

As Hilly said, pretty much anyone can use the Screamin Eagle tuner.
Only thing to add if you go that way, just make sure you buy the S E Super Tuner Pro not the Pro Street Tuner.

Do you plan on doing the tuning yourself or taking it to someone who specializes in tuning Harleys ?

I like the Thundermax.  It supports blowers which was my driver.

Give Fred at  "Pro Cycles" in Brisbane a call ... Tell him your story ... He will give you the heads up on what options to go in your situation..

That's right. There's is a fee. But the fp3 becomes a paper weight in the same situation

Might cop some flak for this comment but...we have had good success with Cobra F1 auto tuners....particularly when there are no Harley tuners around where you live. They also dont need to be re-tuned whenever you make a change ie; adding pipes or cams etc.

I wanted something to get a decent tune for my stage 1 ao the FP3 was ideal.

In hindsight I wish I had bought the Powervision as its more future proof (cams, stage 4) and I could also use it between bikes)
