I know things like side mounted number plate and loud exhaust aren't legal,, Can't seem to find definitive answers for following. can anyone help out? my bikes sportster.
1. front wheel guard removal
2. chopped rear fender (bobber style)
3. headlight vertical grill

Re: original question, the state government website where you live would be helpful but if you are really keen on a particular change, ‘it’s only illegal if ya get caught’. So some people say.

ahh, no worries mate.
if you don't want a front Gard. a mate had an old flh shovel and put the front dresser Gard on the back, pissed the back Gard off. changed from 16 inch front wheel to 21', when asked where is the front Gard , he would just say on the back.
