S/E Super Tuner Pro questions

Guys, a mate recently purchased a S/E super tuner Pro VCI for his 2013 FLSTC, downloaded the software (latest?) and selected the stage 1 calibration - bike runs Freedom True duals and S/E hi flow a/c, nothing else at this stage. Since flashing the cal, he reckons his decel pop is worse (it did it before if you snapped off the throttle but was ok if you rolled off slowly) otherwise couldn't really feel much change.
We had a bit of a play after he did a few smart tune runs and initially tried adjusting the decel enleanment - we went initially leaner by 0.2 pts, then richer by 0.2pts with no real discernible difference either way, so put it back to where it was before fiddling. Doing a bit more searching showed some guys preferring to adjust the A/F ratio tables in the 20kPa column, so we have currently richened the mixture from 14.4 to 13.8 from 750 - 3500rpm, does seem correct? He thinks it may be slightly better.
Also, his bike being a 1HD bike had the active intake and exhaust solenoids which aren't fitted anymore obviously, but did throw codes previously so we fitted some resistors and all good since, but I thought we could turn on/off these solenoids with the software? The tutorial recently posted  even mentions it, but it isn't an option to select with his software - is this a version issue? ie later version so the EPA have canned it? I found a link to an older version of software - would this be better to use for his bike and tuner?

    Thanks in advance

1HD bikes do not have the active air and exhaust

5HD bikes are "international" models and do have active air and exhaust

In my experience , only TTS and original up to 2008 Screamin' eagle race tuners switch off the active air and exhaust, using a specific calibration to do so.

Maybe power Vision can , but I don't use those.

Supertuner pro I have never switched off AKA "disabled" active air and exhaust.

It will be the true duals that are causing the decel popping , seen that many times before now.

can be "tuned away" or minimised

PM me an email address and I'll send you a calibration that may help with the decel popping

Hey Retro, flashed that map onto my mates bike - he is very happy, bike runs great and no decel pop. Thanks mate, you're a legend.

    No worries.

I've used that calibration on a few bikes with true dual systems

Personally I prefer an exhaust system with a crossover/power chamber/ link pipe , call it what you want.

BUT guys have got what they've bought and you try to suit

Glad it worked , has done most every time for me.
