Just reading a test with the current 1000cc Jap and Euro bikes. They punt them down the quarter mile in one session the fastest @ 9.8sec 246kph the slowest 10.7 230kph. Three of the 6 tested ran in the 9sec the other 3 10sec. You got to buy a very very expensive car to get near these numbers

I've got a current model S1000RR, and its absolutely ballistic. 200hp+ (at the crank, about 185rwhp). Launch control, cruise control, heated grips, lean angle/cornerning ABS.

I took it to WSID a week after getting it, and with LC It ran consistent 10.1-10.2. Now that Im used to riding it, I reckon I could get 10.0 or hopefully under.
