Hi Guys, im in the midst of planning a motorcycle trip to the US, hiring bikes and heading to above places. if anyone has any info they can pass on i would appreciate it, there re a few of us going and after sturgis i will be meeting my sister and mother in Las Vegas and taking mum on a trike along route 66 to Chicago, my sister will be driving a vehicle so if mum gets tired she can jump in the car, we will leave them in Chicago and go to Milwaukee and they will do Ney York and Niagra Falls. If anyone has experience of hiring Harley etc in the us please let me know, Mum has wanted to go for some time and i would like to take her before she cant travel anymore.

Been to all where you are planning, never rented, buy, ride ship home for mine. Route 66 is rough in sections with little up keep off the black top, if you are going to the Chicago factory and following route 66 stop off at the Kansas City Missouri factory better IMO. Sturgis is over rated but got to tick it off the bucket list for sure, stay in Deadwood good party town, ride out of there each day lots of other events happen in towns near by Hulett & Sundance are close by.

Do a chopper flight over the Canyon, Dam and Lake Mead from Vegas. Presuming this is happening in 2018 ? Warm attire recommended if not ! Enjoy and look forward to hearing your tails on the trails. Cheers.
