Well it seems as though the council are sending their inspectors to book two or more bikes sharing a free untimed parking spot in the hinterland. Fucker are just chasing the $

now they are forcing you to take a full space for each bike, have to wonder how stupid the council is, wait till the car drivers start to whine around the lack of parking

In future, Take a pic of your bike being only bike in space at time you left it.

But yeh I would appeal it, and ask for your days wages for wasting your time. Also see local MP.

This happened in a small country town in Far North Qld back in the 70's.  Young copper, new to town did a little bit of muscle flexing and booked a couple of boys for having 3 bikes in one car space.  Back in those days, shops shut at 12.00 on Saturdays and all of the shops were on the main street.  Word got put around and lads came from nearby towns at sparrow fart on a Saturday morning.  Each bike took a space and parked diagonally right down main street.  Needless to say, the old sarge put the word out that it was fine to have more than one bike in a car space from then on.
