I just bought these heads for my standard 103,
Screamin Eagle Pro CNC Ported Factory Heads
The bike has a full Vance and Hines exhaust and a heavy breather and sert.
Just wondering what would be a good set of cams to use with them. I would like some more low and mid range usable power.

SE259E cams work nicely with a 103 with head work.

A lot depends on the compression.
Are you just bolting the heads on as is with flat top pistons ?
The 259's can hit earlier in the right setup, at around 10.5 - 10.8 .
As a bolt in, stock comp 103, the 57's will do pretty well in the range you want them to work, and are cheap and easy to get hold of.

Yeah good replys, I had 259es in my 103 with these heads, 10.5 comp. came on hard around 3200 rpms and was a joy to ride.
Got em sitting in the shed if ya want them?

They are more mid/top end biased.
What compression are you planning on ? (they will still want 10.5 - 10.7)

At what Comp ratio do you start having pinging issues with standard 95 Ron pump petrol.

    Over 10.5 :1 ?

I used to know all this shit when I was a young punter :(

Shit I hate getting old LOL

    Cheers
