Sportster 48 Custom exhaust advice...

    Hi guys!
    I'm new to this forum and also new to Harley! I'm a long time lover and first time buyer and I've admired the 48 for a long time! I'm looking at putting a custom exhaust on my 2017 48 and I want to do something different than the V&H short shots (which look great but lots of people do) The ones I've found I like the most so far are these (below) by a company called blow exhausts in NSW but they don't make them for Sportsters...Grrr

    So can anyone recommend anyone else who does something like this?

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum.  I've moved this topic into the Sportster section.
    I can't say I've seen pipes exactly like that for Sportsters.  But you can get some that are similar.  I'd imagine they would be pretty loud.

    A similar exhaust is the laf exhaust available online, eBay etc

    Thanks for moving it mate I had a bit of trouble getting it in the right section! Yeah the loudness is a concern I may be dreaming to find something that looks like this but isn't too crazy loud! I want something that when you give ita bit you hear it but when your cruising isn't too annoying or offensive!

    All short pipes are loud as f....and are poor performers for Street use 
    Hence the exhaust I told you to look at is called LAF

    i reckon the are so many better options for an exhaust, 
    you wont get a aftermarket exhaust that will be quiet like a stock one , 

    If I were you do more research , find a good preforming one and take it easy when crusing, when you see your oppotunity give it a good handful lol 

    also get a proper dyno tune
