OK. This is driving me nuts. My 2012 is riding fine then all of a sudden ceases charging, with the idiot lights on the dash telling me -no charge and engine management issue, yellow and red colour idiot lights.. I ride for 600 kms. and fuck me, go for little ride after and she says, no start fuck you. But riding the 6 or 7 hundred kays not an issue.Harley joint looked at her and said could be stater or the regulator on the way out. But they then said, could find nothing wrong at the time, again..

Mark, advice taken on board, bike is on charge (CTEK) every night, and is only a year old, I will must get to the result soon. Last rip, I purchased I purchased a jump starter on the run and didn't need it, so returned and got my 200 smackers back, but was insurance in the boonies. Could you put up a pick or something of the little battery you take with you 

Look on ebay, search power pack or jumpstart. There are packs available that will jumpstart cars half a dosen time between charge and can be used to charge phones and run other devices, not much bigger than a block of chocolate just twice as thick.
